Knit your first Jumper

This class will cover the following:

• Pattern terminology and how to read your pattern
• Choosing the right yarn for your pattern
• Different types of cast on
• How to chose the right size in the pattern
• Gauge swatching
• How and where to join yarn
• Top down construction
• Increases
• Raglan shaping
• Casting off to match your cast on
• Blocking your garment

• 3mm and 4mm circular needles in 40cm and 80cm/100 cm 
• 3 mm and 4 mm DPNS
  • or the required needles to obtain gauge
• 250g - 400g DK weight yarn
  • We will go through yarn choices in the first session so you don't need to choose or buy your yarn before hand unless you really want to
  • The pattern is suitable for bust sizes 31.5 inches - 51.5 inches
  • If your bust size falls outside of this range, please contact me as there are alternatives
• Tape measure for measuring gauge

Our classes are held in person at KNiTT, 1H Queens Road, Teddington, TW11 0LX.

Classes can be cancelled but are non-refundable.

 

At the discretion of Wool & Ewe, if you need to cancel it may be possible to move you to another class if I am able to fill your cancelled session with another student.

 

We reserve the right to cancel a class. If we need to cancel the class due to any unforeseen/unusual circumstances, we will of course offer you a full refund or move your booking to another suitable class (whichever your preference is).
